Originally from Alamo, Tennessee, vickey malone kennedy (aka vck -pronounced Vick) now
lives in Norman, Oklahoma with her adult children, a beautiful red-haired granddaughter, and a
terrific Tuxedo Great Dane.
vck received a B.A., in Theatre –acting and technical theatre- from the University of Science
and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She did her graduate studies in Technical
Theatre-set and light design- at
Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
After 20 plus years in the Theatre
vck walked off the stage to raise babies. She's never
regretted that choice for a moment.
Now that her babies are grown (but still at home)
vck spends most of her time helping raise
her grand-baby, working full-time as a nurse, writing, and hanging out with adults that like to
play dress up; as aliens.
She is co-founder of Rose Rock wRiters, and actively involved with
Norman Galaxy of Writers,
